This hair barrette is hand made by artist Leonard Good Bear (Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe).  He uses white pearline, turquoise blue, green, red, orange, yellow, and black beads to create the design.  He also accents the barrette with porcupine quills, a soft leather backing and a French-style clasp.  The piece is signed by Leonard.
