Description
Donald F. Montileaux is a Native American artist who created the ledger image “Blue Head,” or “To Pa” in Lakota. According to the artist, “Warrior horses were trained for different tasks: Buffalo Horse—swift and sure footed; War Horse—agile, able to move with the warrior’s leg movements and body; Good Horse—his everyday horse, who carried him the majority of the time and leads the Buffalo Horse and War Horse to their tasks.” This print is printed on high quality watercolor paper with archival inks.
