This illustration for the story, "The Puppy and the Digging Stick," is one of the last remaining available original illustrations by award-winning author and illustrator, Paul Goble. Watercolor gouache was used to paint this image for the story which is included in his book, "The Man Who Dreamed of Elk-Dogs & Other Stories from the Tipi.
