I cooked half a package in chicken broth for 30 minutes, then added enough extra to cover brown basmati rice added. At 45 minutes most of the liquid gone, added frozen peas and chicken shreds. In an hour it was fantastic, perfectly cooked, chewy.
I just love the texture and taste.
