April 22, 2014: Earth Day
We are mindful of this year’s “Earth Day” with this quote from a famous speech from Chief Seattle:
"How Can One Sell the Air?"
"Every part of this earth is sacred to my people. Every shining pine needle, every tender shore, every vapor in the dark woods, every clearing and every humming insect are holy in the memory and experience of my people. The sap which courses through the trees, carries the memories of the red man."
~Chief Seattle
When we speak of this Earth, we think of it as our mother and the heavens above as our father. We cannot abuse the mother without making the father angry. Make time to keep your mother healthy and to thank her for all she has provided for you, this is the only earth we have.
Happy Earth Day everyone!
