Native American artist Jim Little Wounded creates a shield that shows the sprit of a buffalo that guides the warrior who carries this shield.
Jim uses commercially tanned deer leather for the soft cover, he paints the cover with acrylic paints. Jim makes the image of the buffalo stand out with glass beads and real buffalo hair. Jim adds imitation feathers and deer hooves.
Jim finishes the shield with a red wool cloth trailer that also features imitation feathers and black horse hair.
The piece is signed by the artist.
