Native American Hand Painted Shield: Elk Dreamer

This particular shield is hand painted by Miniconjou Lakota artist Jim Little Wounded.  He uses acrylic paints for the Elk Dreamer design.  Jim also decorates the shield with imitation eagle wing feathers, leather fringe, bells, imitation elk teeth, and a detailed elk amulet with beadwork on it.
