Hand Painted Shield: Buffalo Spirit w/ Buffalo Man

This particular shield is hand painted by Miniconjou Lakota artist Jim Little Wounded.  He uses acrylic paints for the buffalo spirit design.  Jim also decorates the shield with imitation eagle body and wing feathers, leather fringe, bells, buffalo hair, and a detailed beaded amulet.
