Native American Hand Painted Deer Hide: Wagon on the Run
Native American artist Mike McLeod (Bad River Band Chippewa, Lakota) hand paints this commercially tanned deer hide with acrylic paints. He paints the scene of a wagon being chased across the Prairie.
Mike finishes the decoration of the hide with red wool cloth strips, wrapped imitation eagle feathers, horse hair and glass bead. The piece is signed by the artist.
