Native American Hand Painted Deer Hide: Sundance
Native American artist Mike McLeod paints the Sundance scene of piercers tied to the tree while onlookers pray and support the participants.
Mike uses a commercially tanned deer hide and paints it with acrylic paints. To finish the decoration of this piece, he adds strips of wool cloth and a spirit catcher.
