Native American artist Rayme Little Wounded (Minneconjou Lakota), hand paints the image of two people following the river to the sun.
Rayme uses a commercially prepared buffalo skull for his hand painted artwork. Rayme paints with acrylic paints. He decorates the skull with imitation eagle feathers, pheasant feathers, leather dangles and metal bells.
Rayme finishes the decoration of the skull with glass beaded rings at the base of each horn cover.

Length is measured from the top of the horns to the bottom of the hanging feathers. The actual length of the skull is 26 inches.
