Native American Hand Painted Buffalo Skull: Morning Buffalo Bonnet

Miniconjou Lakota (Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe) artist Jim Little Wounded uses a combination of free hand painting techniques with acrylic paints, beadwork, quillwork, imitation red tail hawk feathers, sleigh bells, dyed horse hair, and leather fringe to create his elaborate “Morning Buffalo Bonnet” design.
