Native American Hand Made Women’s Bone Hair Pipe Breastplate w Cowrie Shells
Native American artist Mike McLeod, Bad River Band Chippewa, creates a women’s bone hair pipe breastplate with little black and white glass beads and purple top cowrie shells.
Mike strings each row and attaches them to a tooling leather strip, this helps to hold the breastplate up and down and makes the rows even. The Bone hair pipe and glass beads makes the breastplate a little heavier.
Mike finishes the ends of each row with purple head cowrie shells. He attaches leather ties so the breastplate hangs from your neck.
