Native American Hand Made White Leather Dress w Leather Belt
Native American artist Mike McLeod, Bad River Band Chippewa, uses very white deer leather to create this beautiful dress. Mike adds a leather belt with conchos to complete this style of dress.
The white deer hides are commercially tanned, Mike uses the same hide to create fringe at the end of the sleeves and the sides of the dress.
Mike hand paints scalloped details, adds small beadwork points and then finishes the points with leather dangles that feature glass and metal beads with tin cones.
