Native American Hand Made Parfleche Feather Case

This particular parfleche feather case is hand made by Miniconjou Lakota artist Jim Little Wounded. He uses a deer rawhide for the base.  He decorates the case with a combination of free-hand techniques in acylics to paint the in buffalo and geometric designs.  He also accents it with red wool cloth, imitation eagle fluffs, and leather fringe.
