This beaded knife sheath is hand made by local Lakota artist Jared Lanz, Oglala Lakota Nation member.
He uses brained tanned leather to create the form of the knife sheath and enforces the inside with sturdy rawhide and decorates it with a colorful combination of Italian glass beads. The sheath is paired with an antique Cheyenne style knife. It can be hung or looped on a belt.
