Native American Hand Beaded Possible Bag: Many Horses
Brenda DuBray, Oglala Lakota, hand beads this beautiful example of a tipi or possible bag. Used for carrying or storing important items, it was useful and beautiful to have.
Brenda uses commercially tanned deer hides for the body of the bag, she creates a flap opening at the top and attaches long leather things to help secure your items inside the bag.
She decorates the bag with glass beads, metal spots, metal beads and metal cones. The inside of the bag is lined with felt.
