Native American artist Jim Little Wounded creates one of his signature pieces, a hand carved Horse Dance Stick. These pieces commemorate the relationship between horse and rider, a beautiful lifelong friendship.
Jim carves the body of the stick from wood, he stains and paints the entire stick. Jim further embellishes the stick with real horse hair, glass beads, metal bells and imitation eagle feathers.
Jim has also commemorated the relationship the Lakota have with the buffalo, the buffalo amulet is made from rawhide, buffalo fur and glass beads.
The piece is signed by the artist.
