Eagle Claw Bowl w. Beaded Stem & Feather Drop
Created by non-Native American artist Dan Chapman. The bowl is a carving from pipestone into the shape of an eagle claw. Pipestone is also known as catlinite.
This pipe features a wooden stem of fir, blue Italian glass trade beads, wool, goose spike feathers, imitation eagle feathers, rabbit fluffs, and horse hair. The end of the pipe also showcases an eagle claw bowl. The bowl is from the Pipestone Quarry in Pipestone, Minnesota.
