Paul Szabo

Sicangu Lakota/Rosebud Reservation

Paul was born on the Rosebud Reservation and is of Lakota, Hungarian, Polish, and French descent and is an enrolled member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe in South Dakota.

Through the development of his own artistic style, Paul expresses Lakota culture and religion with unique symbolism which appeals to all people, not just Native Americans. Although the designs come from the Northern Plains, the Southwest metalsmiths have influenced his technique.
