This 16 inch hand drum is hand painted by Miniconjou Lakota artist Jim Little Wounded. He uses a combination of free-hand painting techniques with acrylic paints to create the design. Jim also accents the drum with beaded wooden spikes, a beaded buffalo medallion and a hand crafted drum stick.
The drum body is made by non-Native American Wayne Manthey.
