After the Army he became a graphic designer \/ t-shirts, designing the Oglala Lakota Nation Pow Wow t-shirts for the past 15 years. He's have made posters for O.L.C., KILI Radio and Oglala Lakota Nation Pow Wow and most recently the prestigious \u0026amp; People’s Choice poster contest for the He Sapa Wacipi, 2009. In 2006, Joe received 1st place at the Red Cloud Art Show in watercolor and also the Aplan award for \"Outstanding Young Indian Artist\".\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eIn 2003, Joe found his true calling as a Lakota Wicasa and to use his art to communicate a message of healing and hope to our people, to project positive, prideful and historic images for our recovery from a century of cultural genocide.
