Native American Hand Carved Warrior’s Pipe Tamper
Native American artist Jim Little Wounded, Minneconjou Lakota, hand carves this pipe tamper with a small warrior’s face at the top. A pipe tamper is used to gently stir your smoking mixture and to clean your bowl. Never hit your pipestone bowl on any hard surface, it will cause the bowl to crack and eventually break.
Jim decorates the pipe tamper with glass beads, dyed porcupine quills and a tiny spray of feathers. The piece is signed by the artist.
