This exquisite contemporary photographic documentary of the descendants of Wounded Knee and the great Sioux leaders is the result of a three year project by prize winning photographer Don Doll. It is the story of today's Lakota, Dakota and Nakota who have survived the broken treaties and broken promises of the past and have chosen to make a difference by continuing to carry the traditions and culture of their people to future generations.

This edition includes a personalized note from the author to his friends Keith & Kathy.

Condition: Good condition, original dust cover in used condition but not torn. Book does show a small amount of shelf wear and the pages are in fair condition (some yellowing and possible moisture absorption). The hard cover is cloth covered board.
