Description

Description

Beginning with "The Explorers", who introduced the horse to the Dakota in 1541 to the Act of June 2, 1925 which granted the Dakota citizenship of the United States.

The author was a friend to many Native people and the person who inspired this writing, Mrs. Taylor Bald Eagle, gave him a folder filled with copies of treaties that were made with the Plains Indians. This book covers the stories behind each of those treaties and the thought process of both the Native Americans and the White settlers of this region.

Condition: This little book is in great condition. There is very little shelf wear at the edges and no yellowing of the pages.
