Native American artist Mike McLeod creates this Arapahoe style shirt to commemorate the historical clothing of this Plains Indian tribe.
Mike uses commercially tanned deer leather for the shirt, he adds colored fringe to cover the seams. On the front and back of the shirt, Mike has added a decorated shirt bib. The bibs feature more colored fringe, glass beadwork, imitation flicker feathers, a painted star on the front and a painted moon on the back. Mike finishes the decoration of the shirt with red wool wrapped imitation owl feathers attached to the shoulders of the shirt.
