Jim stains the dance stick and then paints it with acrylic paints. He wraps glass beads towards the foot of the stick and adds "cut" real buffalo horn for the horns. Jim finishes the dance stick with real buffalo fur and a spray of wild turkey tail feathers on the head. Jim adds a buffalo amulet made from rawhide, buffalo fur and glass beads. He attaches the amulet with a leather dangle that also features large glass trade beads. The piece is singed by the artist.
