Native American Hand Beaded Travel Bag: Periwinkle
Native American beadwork artist Brenda DuBray loves to mix colors, even if it doesn't seem like they would work together, she makes it work.
Brenda constructs her bag from commercially tanned deer leather. She adds the beadwork and then completes the decoration of the beadwork with colored horse hair tufts with matching colored beads. She adds a flap closure and then completes the decoration of this with brass cones with leather dangles and brass bells. The inside of the bag is lined with ribbed maroon colored cotton cloth.
