The Day the Earth Rose Up is a story that depicts my personal view of the sacred relationship between the Paha Sapa (Black Hills), the Mato Tipila (Bear Lodge), the Mato Paha (Bear Mountain), and the Wicincala Sakowin (Seven Sisters), and shows how everyone and everything is interconnected.
