Outstanding
The detail is overwhelming. The intricate pieces of paper makes the bird feathers look very realistic. It’s an outstanding piece of art which we proudly display on our fireplace mantel.
Patty Eckman (Non-Native American) creates beautiful white paper sculptures using her own recipe of paper and a unique sculpting process that she and her husband, Allen Eckman (Non-Native American) have developed and shared since 1987.
A hummingbird flutters amidst a spray of bluebells, tufts of grass, and other smaller flowers, in the limited edition cast paper sculpture, “Hummin’ in the Bluebells.” A ladybug and a butterfly share the surroundings with the bird that is busily taking nectar from a bluebell.
The piece is set in a beautiful glass dome, making it the perfect addition to any fine art collection.
