Original Ledger Art: White Horse
$1,425.00
Ledger drawings are an historic Native American art form dating back to the mid 1800's. Modern-day Lakota ledger artist, Don Montileaux, uses colored pencil and ink on antique ledger paper. "Tasunka Luta," meaning "Red Horse," in Lakota, was drawn on a ledger book page from 1920. The image of the horse flies across the page. Custom framing using conservation mats and glass finishes the piece.
