Original Ledger Art: Spirit Heart

"Spirit Heart," is an original ledger drawing by Native American artist, Donald F. Montileaux. Don really saturated the image with vibrant color using many layers of Prisma-color pencils. The drawing surface is an antique Stanley County, SD Treasurer's office ledger page from the year 1894. Conservation mats and glass were used to custom-frame the piece.
