Original Ledger Art: Old Bull

A Native American man, "Old Bull," stands wrapped in a trade cloth blanket next to his tipi in this original ledger drawing by Donald F. Montileaux. Don is a Lakota ledger artist who uses Prisma-color pencils on antique ledger paper as his medium. This particular image is drawn on a section of a sheet of ledger paper from 1907. The piece is beautifully custom-framed with conservation mats and museum glass.
