Original Ledger Art: Golden Herd

Native American artist, Don Montileaux, rendered this stylized buffalo image, "Golden Herd," using colored pencil and ink on an antique ledger page from the Stanley Co., SD treasurer's office, 1894. Conservation, metallic colored mats compliment the image and UV glass protects it.
