Original Ledger Art: Council

Evans Flammond, Sr. is a Native American ledger artist, and a member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe.  The "Council" silhouettes in the background contrast the brightly colored, stylized images of the horse, shield, tipis and geometric patterns creating a pleasing dynamic. The artist used colored pencil and ink to create his art on an antique sheet of ledger paper dated 1889. Custom framing using conservation quality materials and UV glass finish the piece.
