Original Ledger Art: Blue Horse

Donald F. Montileaux is a Lakota ledger artist who works in colored pencil and ink on antique ledger paper. "Blue Horse," depicts a Lakota warrior on horseback rendered on 1876 ledger paper. The piece is finished with a custom frame, conservation mats, and museum glass (virtually reflection-free).
