Description
Native American artist Travis Tremblay, Listuguj Mi’kmaq Canada, uses smoked scraped brain tanned deer hide for the body of this xl pipebag.
Travis uses glass beads, a mixture of Czech and Italian hand cuts. He adds quilled slats that have some natural dye colors with a mixture of commercially dyed quills, he finishes the end of the bag with long dyed twisted fringe. The actual bag measures 16 inches long by 6 inches across.
Travis finishes the bag by edge beading the opening, adding red dyed fluffs and metal bells.
