Native American Made Pipe Axe w Beaded Wooden Stem
Native American artist Thomas Ridley, Ute Mountain Ute Tribe of Colorado, creates this classic style of a pipe axe. The pipe axe heads were manufactured as a trade item all across the North American continent.
Thomas leaves the special pipe axe head shiny and then adds it to a wooden stem. The stem is decorated with glass beads, imitation eagle feathers and a beaded tail.
