Native American Made Pedestal Drum 15x30: Victory Headdresses
A victory is celebrated on this pedestal drum by Native American artist Jim Little Wounded, Minneconjou Lakota. Jim paints the excitement of the warriors returning from battle.
Jim uses a wooden drum with rawhide stretched across the top and bottom of the drum. He uses acrylic paints for the riders and their horses, the top and the bottom of the drum.
Jim decorates the drum with leather dangles, glass beads and imitation eagle body feathers. He finishes the decoration of the drum with a beater that features glass beads and buffalo fur.
The piece is signed by the artist.
