Native American Hand Painted Shield: Red Buffalo

Native American artist Thomas Ridley, Ute Mountain Ute Nation of Colorado, hand paints and decorates this shield to honor the Buffalo Nation. 

Thomas paints the shield with acrylic, he adds a glass beads with metal bells dangle to the center. He decorates the shield with leather ties and imitation eagle feathers.

The piece is signed by the artist.
