Native American Hand Painted Pipe Bag: Ghost Dance (Blue)
Hand painted by Native American artist Mike McLeod, Bad River Band Chippewa, the pipe bag is reminiscent of the style used during the Ghost Dance movement.
Mike uses commercially tanned deer leather and paints the top with acrylic paint. The bottom section is the natural leather but with a touch of smoke color. The actual bag section that holds a pipe measures 33 inches long by 7 1/2 inches wide. He finishes the bag with long fringe, glass beads, metal cones and two wrapped imitation eagle feathers.
Length 54 | Width 9 inches
Length is measured from the top of the bag to the bottom of the fringe.
All measurements are approximate.
