Native American artist Jim Little Wounded, Minneconjou Lakota Nation, hand paints his stylized version of a deer drinking water, the spirit deer dips his nose into the cool water.

Jim uses a hand drum made from wood and rawhide. Jim paints the rawhide with acrylic paints, adds real antlers and a glass beaded amulet of a deer. Jim includes a drum bater that is decorated with glass beads and leather thongs.

The piece is signed by the artist.
