Native American Hand Painted Buffalo Robe: The Encampment

Sicangu Lakota artist Evans Flammond Sr., hand paints this buffalo/bison robe with images of an Encampment, lodges are painted with colorful images accompanied by horses and buffalo skulls.

Evans uses a commercially tanned buffalo robe with hair on. He paints the sueded side of the hide with acrylic paint and signs his piece.
