Native American artist Mike McLeod, Bad River Band Chippewa, hand paints this buffalo robe with a story he tells of the war exploits between the cavalry and Black Crow.
Mike free hand paints the robe with acrylic paints, the depiction in the middle if of Crow which guides this warrior through life. Mike finishes the decoration of the piece with wrapped feathers, mother of pearl shells and leather dangles.
