Native American Hand Made Shield: Elk Tooth w 3 Stars
Hand painted by Native American artist Mike McLeod, Bad River Band Chippewa, he uses acrylic paint to depict a starry sky above imitation elk teeth.
Mike adds a blue wool cloth strip to the center, adds the imitation teeth, leather strings, abalone shells and metal beads. He completes the decoration with imitation eagle feathers and a large shoulder strap.
The piece is signed by the artist.
