Native American Hand Made Shield: Crow Chief
Native American artist Thomas Ridley, Ute Mountain Ute Nation of Colorado, created a shield from a story he read, he really liked the shield.
Thomas uses a rawhide disc, he paints the disc with acrylic and ink. Thomas adds seven wool cloth wrapped imitation eagle feathers. He finishes the decoration of this piece with metal bells attached to leather strips.
The piece is signed by the artist.
