Native American Hand Made Quilled and Beaded Pipe Bag

Native American quillwork and beadwork artist Emilie Ravnshead, Oglala Lakota Nation, creates this historical piece using brain tanned deer leather, Italian glass beads and dyed porcupine quills.

Emilie uses a historical design for the beadwork and the quillwork. She finishes the bag with metal cones that feature dyed red horse hair, quill wrapped dangles and a leather tie.
