Native American Hand Made Mini Cradleboard: Horses w Shield

Oglala Lakota Nation member Brenda DuBray uses her skills with glass beads to create this lovely mini cradleboard, it’s an exact replica of a full size cradleboard.

She puts her beadwork on commercially tanned deer leather and then attaches this to a wooden backboard. Brenda has adorned the mini cradle with metal bells, metal cones, metal spots, a single turtle amulet and the tiniest baby moccasins.
