Native American Hand Made Horse Dance Stick: Buffalo Hunters
Native American artist Jim Little Wounded, Mnicoujou Lakota Nation, hand paints this wood carved Horse Dance Stick with images of Buffalo Hunters. In addition, the legs of this dance stick are carved apart so it gives the dance stick the appearance of 4 legs.
Jim paints the entire carved stick with acrylic paints and uses real horse hair for the mane, forelock and tail. He adds a wrapped imitation eagle feather to the front legs and accents it with a bell as well as a hand beaded buffalo amulet.
The piece is signed by the artist.
