Native American Hand Made Bear Dance Stick
Native American artist Jim Little Wounded, Minneconjou Lakota, carves the shape of a Bear, the powerful spirit helps to guide the warrior who carries it.
Jim stains and paints the entire carved dance stick. He doctorates the mouth with badger claws to create teeth, he adds a spray of feather and a glass beaded bear amulet.
He adds wool cloth wrapped with glass beads and resin claws to complete the end of the dance stick.
The piece is signed by the artist.
